Only country in the developed world to do so. NZ Treasury Policy Statement for 2025 stated clearly. If NZ continues on the Net zero path this is what will happen and this is what will be needed to be done . Expenditure to GDP will rise to 200% of income by 2060. Thus there will have to be reform to Super Annuation entitlements. Means testing?. Welfare spending will have to drop from 5.7% to 2.2%. Health costs will have to be reduced. Methods sudjested include prevention?, user pays. Other expenditure down from 13% GDP to 5%. Taxation up from 21% to 32%, or GST to 32%. The amendment needs to read “Equal Opportunity” since outcomes allows limitless expenditure of limited funds on race based outcomes rather than outcomes based on need for all. Such discrimination is at odds with sec 127,2cii giving effect to relevant student rights as set out in the Act, gives no consideration to the students own culture and/or religions. Thus violating their section 13 . Right to Freedom of thought , conscience, religion, and beliefs, including the right to adopt and hold opinions with out interference. She did this quietly. A move that will force every school board to reflect “local tikanga Maori, matauranga Maori, and te ao Maori” in their policies, plans, and classroom teaching. Hmm.
